Grant plays a New York City advertising executive who goes on the run after being mistaken for a government agent by a group of foreign spies--and falls for a woman whose loyalties he begins to doubt!
IMDb's synopsis is serviceable, but it doesn't begin to describe the genre-jumping, laugh-out-loud, white-knuckle thrill ride that is North By Northwest.
